King of kippen 2009
In 2008 we renewed the tradition of crowning a ‘King of Kippen’ and following a demanding trial of strength and skill, James Thomson was the first of a new line of Kings of Kippen to be crowned.
In 2009 after another battle with several strong competitors, the crown passed to Calum McNicholl. But in addition to the King of Kippen, in 2009 we introduced a Prince of Kippen competition and Murry Caulderwood triumphed over the opposition.
So this year we will be seeking a new King so if you think you are up for the challenge please support your Kingdom and volunteer to take part in the King of Kippen challenges on the day – Your Kingdom Needs You!
