How to take part
As you can imagine, putting on the Street Fayre takes quite a lot of work! A small committee of dedicated Kippen folk work on the organisation from January through to the day of the event.
On the day of the Fayre there is a lot to do – we start setting things up at about 6.30 a.m., hoping that everything is in place by 10.30 a.m ready for the start. Throughout the Fayre there are a host of tasks that need doing to ensure a fantastic event.
Are you interested AND willing to help out?
If you fancy joining the organising committee just give Jon Evans a call (01786 871 200) or email KippenStreetFayre@googlemail.com and he can tell you just how hard it is meeting every couple of weeks or so for a pint or two in the pub and a chat about the Fayre!
If you can just spare half an hour on the day to help out with a games stall, bouncy castle, or rounding up the dogs at the dog show, give Jill Hunter a call (01786 870266) and she will include you on the rota for the day.
